Daniel Rossi was born 30 years ago in Markham, Ontario. In 2009, he moved to Calgary where he currently lives and works with the Calgary Police Service as an operational patrol member. Dan feels as though policing has broadened his platform for social advocacy. He is committed to standing behind those that suffer from injustice and discrimination and to bring awareness to society on their behalf.
Dan lives by the verse found in 1 John 3:18, where it says, ' Let us not love in word and talk, but in action and in truth.' When you meet Dan you quickly realize how passionate he is in serving others and exemplifies being a servant leader.
Dan founded The Five with D.R.I.V.E Foundation in 2007 with his brother Andrew. As the Executive Director, Dan overseas the international work that consists of school building and micro-finance development in rural areas through Kenya. In addition, Dan has had the opportunity to participate in consulting work for other organizations that work overseas on project development.
Dan attributes his passion from serving a loving God and from a dynamic parenting combination that taught him the value of sharing the most important item that we all have: our time.
